On 29 May a new brand of AccorHotels, named JO&JOE, will open its first location in Hossegor, France.
This new project will open its first location in the French beach- and surf town Hossegor. The Open House is designed for those who embrace sharing, spontaneity and the experiential. The concept combines a place to sleep, a place to eat and drink and a place to meet; it’s open for travellers and locals alike. It offers different sleeping accommodations to suit all needs; essentially a combination of a hotel, a hostel and private-rental. For the first Open House, AccorHotels teamed up with brands Quicksilver and Roxy. They all share the same mind-set and vision of the good life based on relaxation and fun. The aim is to propose a new and authentic experience and to create a place where travellers and locals can get together.
“Creating an Open House in just 3 months is a crazy challenge. But one made possible by the team’s start-up mode approach and considerable agility combined with the support of our partners Quiksilver and Roxy. This very ambitious project is blowing a wind of change through the hospitality market.” – Cédric Gobilliard, Senior Vice President, Lifestyle Division, AccorHotels
The communal areas include the Happy House and the Playground. The Happy House is equipped with lockers and is a place where you can relax, work, cook or do your laundry. The Playground is the place to get a local beer at the bar or get some food in the restaurant serving local dishes. It is also the area where events take place like concerts, workshops, gatherings and various other activities proposed by visitors or staff.
