After last year’s success, Food Truck Festival TREK will be back in Amsterdam this summer.
The Food Truck Festival TREK event will see Amsterdam’s Amstelpark transformed into a huge open-air restaurant on 14 to 17 July 2016.
Last year’s edition of the Food Truck Festival TREK in Amsterdam attracted more then 27,500 visitors, and numbers for this year look set to increase. The TREK festival will be travelling throughout the Netherlands, popping up in nine major Dutch cities from May until September this year. With more than 260,000 visitors attending the festival in all cities during 2015, it’s becoming a well-known event for the foodies among us. What’s more, entrance is absolutely free.
From Thursday 14 until Sunday 17 July, this open-air restaurant is a place where a dozen small mobile kitchens feed a public park full of people. During the Food Truck Festival TREK, food, drinks and music are combined with small artistic and theatre performances, featuring small up-and-coming talents and artists.
