Facebook’s new office space in Berlin is in the Sony Center at Potsdamer Platz, in a carefully designed interior by local architects and artists.

In particular, the artist Marc Jung created a 40 metre long abstract version of the famous East Side Gallery — the outdoor art on a still-standing section of the Berlin Wall. Meeting rooms are named after famous Berlin locations and well-known politicians, poets and philosophers. Also in this space is the legendary Facebook ‘What’s on your mind’ wall: an analogue version of Facebook where employees and visitors can share their thoughts.

The German headquarters of Facebook is still in Hamburg; both offices house about 50 very lucky employees.
